LightView 201k Digital display module
Introduction
Start Guide for LightView 201k Digital Display This guide will show you how to connect the LightView 201k digital display with the camera shield to easily get started.
- Materials
-Seeeduino V3.0 -Camera Shield -LightView 201k Digital Display
- Connection
1 – Brightness+ 2 – Brightness- 3 – GND 4 – AV- 5 – AV+ 6 – GND 7 – VCC (3.9~5V)
You need to connect only 4 lines.
- 4 AV- => V_OUT- of Camera Shield (need soldering a 2PIN header)
- 5 AV+ =>V_OUT+ of Camera Shield(need soldering a 2PIN header)
- 6 GND => GND of Arduino
- 7 VCC => 5V of Arduino
The final assembly looks like:
- How it works The display only needs an AV input. The camera shield is used to generate the AV signal. You need not uploading any code into the Seeeduino. Seeeduino only did one thing: power the camera shield. Outputing AV signal is the build-in functionality of the VC0706 chipset used at Camera Shield. In another words, you may not need the Seeeduino+Camera Shield. What you need is an AV signal. You can connect the display to any kind of TV box which can output the AV signal. You can also connect the display to GoPro’s AV output. That’s it.
Help us make it better
Thank you for choosing Seeed. A couple of months ago we initiated a project to improve our documentation system. What you are looking at now is the first edition of the new documentation system. Comparing to the old one, here is the progresses that we made:
- Replaced the old documentation system with a new one that was developed from Mkdocs, a more widely used and cooler tool to develop documentation system.
- Integrated the documentation system with our official website, now you can go to Bazaar and other section like Forum and Community more conveniently.
- Reviewed and rewrote documents for hundreds of products for the system’s first edition, and will continue migrate documents from old wiki to the new one.
An easy-to-use instruction is as important as the product itself. We are expecting this new system will improve your experience when using Seeed’s products. However since this is the first edition, there are still many things need to improve, if you have any suggestions or findings, you are most welcome to submit the amended version as our contributor or give us suggestions in the survey below, Please don’t forget to leave your email address so that we can reply.
Happy hacking
