TimePicker Change - after upgrade to Android 7.* (colors are very poor)

Is there any way to either: 

⦁ change the actual colors (inside the TimePicker) that are currently displayed with Android 7* ?

⦁ or force the use of the older style TimePicker ?

I've done a search but there's not too much about the change to the TimePicker (from previous versions of Android) after upgrading to Android Nougat.

Using a, device which was recently upgraded to Nougat, the time (inside TimePicker) is displayed in a dark grey font - with a black background and the the rest of the TimePicker dial (used to select the actual time you want) is displayed in a vile shade of mauve or purple.

It is incredibly hard to read and hence pick an accurate time from the TimePicker, to display.

Any one else seeing this?

I tried the Material Theme by Boban several times but keept getting errors when generating the new apk. I decided to take a quick look at Thunkable and found I was able to load my .aia project and get the correct colors for the TimePicker.

It's a good 'workaround' but I think the TimePicker for andorid 7.** devices is now unusable in MIT App Inventor 2 without some fixes to the colors.

I suspect you have not followed the tutorial completely, 
edit/adding to manifest file 

android:theme="@style/Theme.Mytheme"

important, moving the necessary files to the correct location

Save Manifest.
Before we Create New.apk.
Replace 1.apk in C:\Users\xxx\apktool\Framework\ with downloaded 1.apk.
Move downloaded folders to ..\AppToMarket_v40\temp_myDecompiles\res\folder.

btw, you can always Leave a Reply on my site...It is is a bug in android 7 Nougat, both DatePicker and TimePicker
