Create a general class for methods in App Inventor 2

I used Java a lot, but decided to try app inventor 2 and see what it's like.

I came across one problem that I cannot seem to find a method to do so. In Java, you can create a general class and input different variables into it to get different outputs. How can I do this in ai2?

EG.

I have a method that will change the color of a button when it gets tapped.

Instead of creating a separate method for each button on how to reaction, how can I have it so that I can simply detect which button is being pressed then fill in the slot for which button to change the color of?
