data problem with bluetooth

i am using a no. of sliders in my app which sends data over bluetooth to arduino board...........along with data value the index no. of the slider is also being sent ....means if i change the position of slider 4th.....it sends me 2 values its data value and its index that is 3 for the 4th slider.......indexing starts from 0 i want only the data to be transmitted and not the index what should i do..... i have used send 2 bytes number function for communication.....plz help

First, what kind of Bluetooth connection are you using?
Second, show your blocks, so that we can see what the problem is.
Third, show the relevant part of your sketch at the Arduino side.
