How to rid csv data of brackets?

I have sucessfully downloaded a csv file, but when I read from that csv file to show in a label the data is encased in brackets i.e. (-35.02415). How do I get rid of the brackets?

It would really help if you provided a screenshot of your relevant blocks, so we can see what you are trying to do, and where the problem may be.

Also, you could read every line of the file, and write every character in a new file without the brackets with a procedure.
