Saving Recorded File

Recorder saves recorded message with and extension  nameofsong.3gp and sometimes as nameofsong.3gp. with a "." after 3gp

Any reason why it does that?

Which device / Android version did you use for your tests?

Please prepare an example as small as possible, which demonstrates this issue and add the project (aia file) into this thread, so someone can take a look
