App inventor app is not running the same way in emulator and my device

I wrote an app to try how tinydb works. I tested it on emulator, it ran the way i expected. But when downloaded the apk file and installed it on my android device (which is a Lenovo tablet) it did not work the same way. A button called reset in my app i supposed to reset a value (global variable). It is working on emulator. But it doesn't work on my device after installing the apk file. 



Please post the relevant blocks of what you tried. Be also aware that on your device every .apk will have it's own TinyDB, not a shared one as in the emulator.
