Background image doesn't appear after saving as .apk and installing

I have created a simple application.  When I run it on the AI Companion the image appears.  But, when I save as a .apk and install it on a phone, the image does not appear.

the filenames are case sensitive

myImage,png is not myIMAGE.png is not myImage.PNG
