Hi, is there a way to do that working on the new AI release, or is it just possible in the AI classic version?

You're right that this document is just for AI Classic.   The process for AI2 is similar, but we have not documented it yet.

Is this for the gesture recognizer?  I'd think you'd want to make that a component.  The documentation for how to add a component  (AI1 and AI2 are the same, I think) is here:
