I had posted same question earlier but can't see the question location now and did not receive any updates for it. Anyways ,I had been trying to start the Appwherein we can create new Project.Installation worked successfully.

Step 3. Open an App Inventor project and connect it to the emulator
How to open an App Inventor Project?
As I can't see any App Inventor icon.
I can locate App Inventor folder and inside it there is aiStarter.
If I click on aiStarter ,the same cmd prompt window of step 2 opens up.
