I have a couple of questions regarding app inventor for music use.
I want some more advanced music features and am curious if these are possible in app inventor or if I would need to learn to use the SDK developer toolkit.
For example, I want
- Sine wave and white noise generation (not using pre-recorded audio files)
- Stereo panning on sounds
- 5 band equalization on sounds
- Phasing/flanging on sounds
unfortunately not possible with MIT App Inventor
Check out Eclipse or Android Studio if you want to manipulate those properties Gaelen or design your own plug-in for App Inventor ( http://appinventor.mit.edu/ appinventor-sources/ .)
App Inventor is a beginners programming tool intended primarily for teaching and allowing non-programmers to invent wonderful things (well, kind of). It does not have the full tool kits and libraries to manipulate everything that is possible in the Android operating system. I suspect there probably are free libaries that would help with audio manipulation with the professional compilers.
