You can try the offline version; but know that you'll have to get into routing habit of making backups of apps.
Also, as of now, the offline versions are not up to date with AI latest.
no, you can't get a paid version
The offline version is now built on MIT AI2 December 16th 2014 and is available here: https://sourceforge.net/ projects/ailivecomplete/files/ ?
just one question Hossein, why is the file name ....zip.zip?
but you can get an personal server for free and work with App Inventor completely offline without internet connection. Your own build server also will be able to build projects larger than 5 MB. Well, and you also will not have the issues with lost assets in the Google Cloud Storage...
As Hossein mentioned, there is the offline version of AILiveComplete (which is unfortunately not up to date with the current MIT App Inventor version, @Hossein, do you like to provide an update?))
And Krupong just updated AI4U, version 2.3 is now identical to the MIT App Inventor version nb139c as of Dec 13. Just download the 32 or 64 bit version here http://sourceforge.net/ projects/ai2u/files/ai2u%202. 3/, install it, start AI4U and your own personal server is up and running! Then just open your browser using the address localhost:8888 . That's all.
I'll try to have it updated by EOD NY time today.
Thanks that was a super fast reply.
