We run app inventor in our ICT classes, and keep hitting serious issues using the emulator. Our network is RM CC4 if that helps. The crux of the problem is that we'll run the emulator, try to connect from the website, and it just seems to time out then hang within the emulator. It's intermittent though, so for some pupils it works with no issues, then some of the time it will eventually work after 2-3 attempts. Has anyone had similar headaches using the software? Our teacher has the curriculum planned around using it and at the moment we're really struggling.

An important advantage of using App Inventor is its compatibily with old devices...This is one of the problems of using the App Inventor's emulator... I think it supports even Android 2.2 so sometimes it doesn't work with modern devices.
