NFC read rfid serial code

As most applications with RFID needs only read the serial code,wondering if it was possible to insert in the app inventor 2 a control that implements this feature

I would like to get the serial id of a tag which I am scanning.

Please add such a function or if it is already please inform me how to get it.

Currently in App Inventor this won't be possible. A NFC component is available but I don't think this is able to read RFID tags.

I think to read RFID tags on an android you will need a bluetooth external RFID reader which are pretty expensive
