What are you trying to do Dorin?    Google App Engine has nothing to do with App Inventor.   What can't you deploy?

Google's site indicates Google App Engine can be used  with a variety of apps conpiled in various languages but perhaps AI2 is not one of them?  See https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/whatisgoogleappengine
