How to have an HTML page whith text show up when clicking a button?

Hi people, I want to have a menu in my screen with some choices, when some one clicks choice 1 I want a text to show up in the screen and so on, how can I use html pages with text to achieve what I want, how to connect the html page with a specific choice or button, I would love some guidance on this, if you know a different way to do this please inform me. Any example or known app that does something similar would be big help.
