I've tried to determine if a text file exists but it doesn't work well because when the text file is not found, an error message is showed. Can I hide it, or can I prevent it from showing ?
Or do I use an other trick ?

Have you tried the Screen1.ErrorOccured block yet?

I am not sure what you want to do with the code in the GotText block. However, you can hide error messages .... ALL error messages by placing this block on your screen without anything in it.
