format for a tablet

I just signed up to use App Inventor and all the tutorials seem to be for an android phone.  Can an app be set up to be used/downloaded on an android tablet?  If so how do I set up the parameters?



If you use Google Play, GP does not presently recognize AI2 apps as Tablet compatible...however, they are compatible if you use the procedures found here to distribute your app

There are third party tools that can modify the Manifest... search for them in the forum using the Search for topics box to the right of the colorful google at the top of this page  using terms like  screen size.
